A small bar bistro with strong french influences – in the staff and the menu.
We started our tasty meal with kirs, then enjoyed starters of lamb sweetbread croquette and venison terrine. Mains of conflt duck and lamb navarin were equally good and contained good quality meat.
Service was somewhat restrained. A contrast to the outgoing kiwi style we’d got used to.
The atmosphere was similar to a small, provincial french restaurant.
This would definitely be somewhere to return to.
