My granddaughter and I had dinner at this charming French bistro in late March. I was looking for a quiet spot with good food and was not disappointed. The candle-lit interior on a warm Auckland evening gave an inviting ambience and the location was perfect for a quiet catch up. The waitress made us feel very welcome and gave helpful suggestions from the extensive wine list. The amuse-bouches were an unexpected delight.
For our mains we had the lamb navarin and the pork belly. They were both excellent. My granddaughter was very happy with her desert and I was appreciative that I could finish my wine with cheese and coffee. I will look forward to returning when next I am in Auckland.
